Rainmaker Digital Services is a hybrid service and technology agency made up of digital marketing veterans with a remarkable breadth of experience. We practice what we preach and have generated hundreds of millions of dollars in sales, both with our own products and services, as well as for our clients.
History
One half of the Rainmaker equation is the people behind Copyblogger, founded in 2006 by digital marketing pioneer Brian Clark. The first and still largest site devoted to the practice of content marketing, Copyblogger evolved from a one-man blog into an 8-figure technology company without venture capital or advertising. Clark developed his digital marketing tactics and strategies starting in the late 1990s -- creating three successful businesses out of websites, email, and content -- and now trains the Rainmaker Digital team in evolved techniques for the benefit of our clients.
The balance of the equation comes through our team headed by Ed Bardwell (click for full bio), a digital marketing pioneer in his own right. Ed has been serving the digital marketing needs of his clients since the mid-1990s, recognizing early that building an audience via content and permission-based email would become the dominant online conversion engine. Bardwell has been recognized for the innovative use of technology to support the marketing efforts of his agency clients, scoring awards including Agency of the Year from the Social Media Club, Emmys, and Addy Awards.

Having been a part of the company since inception in 2011, Katy leads our Client Services team.
Katy started her career in the 1990s and brings a wealth of experience in a variety of industries to B2B and B2C clients. She has the ability to partner with each client to provide her strategic leadership, technical chops, and unwavering client commitment to achieve their business goals.
Content Markting
Robert is a veteran copywriter and content marketing expert. Over the last decade he has been instrumental in building three profitable businesses (Copyblogger, StudioPress, and Rainmaker Digital) via these disciplines.
He is now dedicated to RMDS' marketing efforts and helping clients build their own businesses and generate profit through the timeless principles of digital marketing.
DevOps
Leading the DevOps team and responsible for our Rainmaker Platform technology, Andrés has been a WordPress web developer, designer and sysadmin since 2003.
His experience ranges from site design, plugin and theme development to systems design and management, and he is a recognized leader and sought after speaker in the Latin America WP community.
Digital Solutions
Based in Bloomington, Indiana, Will leads all the team responsible for client projects. His passion is helping people create stunning websites and solutions that exceed their business goals.
Will is an expert on using media for content marketing and hosts a podcast on Rainmaker Platform called The Chicago Audible, the largest fan podcast of the Chicago Bears.
