Ed Bardwell is the CEO/founder of Nimble Worldwide, an integrated marketing and advertising agency based in Dallas, Texas. Nimble Worldwide grew out of MARC USA, a national advertising firm. Mr. Bardwell joined MARC USA in April 2006 as the result of a merger with his prior company, B2Communications. While with MARC USA, Ed directed all corporate efforts associated with the use of technology and the development of marketing innovation.
Nimble Worldwide has been recognized for its innovative use of technology to support the marketing efforts of its clients. Awards have included agency of the year by the Social Media Club, Emmys, and Addy Awards. A strong proponent of the concept of “Method + Message = Results,” Ed leads Nimble’s strategic efforts within the agency.
Prior to Nimble and MARC USA, Ed served as CEO of B2Communications, a second-generation technology company that provided full service marketing and communications solutions to a broad array of clients. As the leader of this organization, he was the primary force for strategic direction, business relationships, and marketing program design.
Earlier in his career, Ed was President of Relevant Marketing Technologies (formerly PopMail Network), a leader in e-Marketing solutions. With two partners, he guided the evolution of Relevant Marketing Technology from its inception as ROI Interactive in 1998 through its acquisition by PopMail.com (NASDQ: POPM) and ultimately, through re-privatization.
Mr. Bardwell is active in the community holding leadership positions with the American Advertising Federation, the Boy Scouts of America, and the AAFutures mentor program. An Eagle Scout, competitive sailor, and the father of two boys, he received a dual bachelor’s degree, a Master’s Degree in International Journalism – Digital Media, and a Master’s Degree in Spanish – Technical Pedagogy, all from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
